BIO: Andy is executive pastor of family ministries at Cross Timbers Community Church, a multicampus congregation based in Argyle, Texas. He also started the Xperience It! Foundation and Andy Tilly Ministries and also authored The Student Experience, Poser, and Modern Activist. Andy frequently speaks at churches, camps, conferences, school assemblies, and retreats across the country.

Getting student and children’s pastors working together for the greater good of the family can be a challenging process. What would happen, however, if they worked together every day as a team that built up the entire family? Do children’s pastors have something to offer student ministries? Can youth pastors work within their gifts to strengthen children’s ministries? In this session we’ll talk about innovative ways they can work together to form ONE ministry that resources the family to help raise kids to be everything God has called them to be.

Keys to Spiritual Formation in Students

What are some fundamental keys to students’ spiritual formation that really work today? In this session we’ll discuss forming mentorships to developing small groups that last years! Spiritual formation isn’t a one- or two-year process but a team approach and a partnership between the family and the church. How do we do that? And where do we start? That’s what this session is all about.
